11-3-fezq.jpgTucked away in a little courtyard in downtown Carmel, Fez Q was like a little oasis when we stepped in out of the rain. We were greeted by bright colors, succulents and other plants, unusual floral arrangements, and "uncommon home accents."

Donna Brusaschetti recently moved the shop from its original spot in Carmel Valley Village, where it had a loyal following. Many of her customers have tracked her down, glad to know that she hasn't closed, only moved.

Although FezQ is small, it's the type of place where you know that you could find a cool, affordable gift for any occasion.

There are so many beautiful hidden little stores in Carmel. Even the Anthropologie there is somehow better than most other Anthro locations. When I'm home from school (I'm originally from the Monterey Peninsula), I spend as much time as I can in Carmel.
