IKEA Decorated Train in Kobe, Japan

4-9-ikea3.jpgWe suppose it was inevitable that IKEA, that lovely big blue box of home decorating, started showing their wares in other venues. But when we saw photos of their showcase train in Kobe, done as a stunt for the opening of a new store, we were pleasantly surprised. While generally spaces done exclusively with IKEA products kind of wig us out, we would love to commute on a train as colorful and fun as this one - talk about a happy way to start and end your day.

What do you think? Too fun or too much? Should transit agencies in the US start talking with the Swedish giant about sprucing up some of our public transportation?

It was interesting when Gregory posted it a few hours ago as well. With having one link integrating the various cities, these duplicates posts seem to be occurring more regularly. What's up with that?
