And this staged apartment from Alvhem gets the mix just right. Using orange sparingly as an accent color adds some warmth to to the chic atmosphere, and the dark gray, orange and white patterned wallpaper in the kitchen really ties everything together. We'd love to see a similar combination using a muted gray-lavender in place of the pale gray for an even stronger sunset feel.

I think the colors are beautiful together - I wish I was daring (or had the money to refurnish) enough to do this.

gorgeous - but can you make it easier to access the images? having to load a new page to view each new image larger size is time consuming and inconvenient
love your stuff, fixing this would make the blog really perfect

GORGEOUS. I love grey with any bright color.

Actually I think it's the little bursts of green that make this apartment work. Take away the greenery from the living room, for example, and it suddenly looks very sterile.

Great use of that IKEA rug, which I love but have been puzzling over how to use.

I like it, but at the same time it slightly reminds me of my old university's library, which was stuck in the 70s. . .

The wallpaper moves the look up a notch.

Oooh, I like! Actually, the living room looks a lot like my apartment's living room (although mine isn't quite as spacious), so this is very inspirational. I have white walls and wood floors....I'd love a light sectional like this, but have been wondering if the whole room would seem too washed out.
This just seems light and airy, so maybe I'll look into it!

Yeah.. I agree with Jeff.
I find clicking the thumbnails extremely annoying with new page loading for a single image
Could someone please fix this? pretty please?

Neat home.
And to jump on the images bandwagon -- an awful lot of visitors have been saying this for a long time now. This way of presenting images is a real pain -- if you're trying to avoid Flash (I'm guessing that's why the current method is used?), then why don't you use the same setup as for home tours? It's still loading a new page, yes, but at least it's not the SAME page (apart from the image) and thus you could add descriptions for each image, as is done for homes.
