We were amused to come across a photo how-to on the subject of wrestling your fitted sheets into submission.
aL From Hawaii recommends a simple under tuck of the opposing corners (step 3) to hold things in place, and went so far as to create a photo essay showing the 5 steps of the process. (Step 3 is pictured here.)
I liked the picture instructions, I learned how to fold fitted sheets while working at a summer resort during college. More or less the same way this has been done. Once you start folding this way, esp. as it makes for a much smaller/nicer looking folded sheet you will never go back to rolling it up and putting it in the closet:)
