How To: Make a Holiday Wreath in 4 Steps

This clear and very easy to follow how-to from Sunset demystifies the wreath-making process, allowing us to save a little money by making our own. It's also a great starting point if you're inspired to make a wreath out of just about anything remotely branch-like (feathers, strips of fabric, tree needles....).

The steps can be broken down as follows: gather the materials, tie them in individual bundles, attach the bundles to your frame (a round metal ring with prongs generally, but we see room for improvisation here too), and then work all the way around the frame to fill it out.

Lovely. I have been considering doing this since the prices of non-tacky wreathes are pretty much unreasonable for my budget...
