We're big fans of symmetry -- whether in the faces of movie stars or the hedges in front of our humble abode. But there's something equally charming about things that are just a little off-kilter. Make it in simple white ceramic, charge a reasonable price and consider us totally sold.

Portland's Pigeon Toe Ceramics is a relative newcomer to the modern pottery scene, making now the perfect time to snatch up some of the sweetly dented pieces before they get popular (and thus, considerably more expensive).
Of all the pieces in the Askew collection, our favorite might be the Pleat Cup, which reminds us a little of the work of Japan's Masahiro Mori.
If you're interested in taking home some asymmetric art yourself, check out the Pigeon Toe etsy store, where prices range from $26 to $30.
Nice.

What are those things called setting in the pot in the top left pitcure? I want to get some to decorate with, but have no idea where to begin.
