In case you ever need to find that perfect gift for someone who loves dogs and/or cats, consider getting them one of these vintage-style record albums designed and created by artist Stephen Fowler...

Each piece is handmade: a layered collage of antique paper, newsprint, rubber stamping, and muslin overlays on canvas, paying homage to the poster design style of the 50s and 60s. We particularly love these album covers, but there's also vintage eye exam charts in addition to themed typography explorations (wine, golf courses, city streets, etc).

His stuff is great, and affordable too. We have multiple pieces by him and he even did a commisioned piece for us that didn't cost us an arm and a leg.

I went to go look at the etsy shop and I was like YA! I already loved his shedd aquarium art I saw on here last year - now I think it's a sign I need to buy something!

I so love that Dachshund Records piece as I love the breed and that profile is classic Dachshund and he chose the black and tan.

I'll have to check out his other work.
