More and more we're noticing that the architecture in our own backyard is changing for the better. While there is still an excess of waterfront McMansions and cookie-cutter display homes, there is an occasional home that makes us breath a sigh of relief. Zac's House caught our eye for that reason today...

Light timber floors, white walls, antique timber furniture and linen lounges in a few different colours are the main elements that make up Paula's coastal cottage. Paula purchased and renovated this house within two years, as well as being the editor in chief of two Australian fashion magazines and juggling a family- the results had us impressed.

We're taking part in the Fall Cure and have been searching for lots of inspiration. The top of our inspiration pile comes from a magazine from the other side of the world, this months Living Etc and bizarrely it features a home only 10 minutes down the road from us.

Last years Australian Home Beautiful Product of the Year was Ikea's Ange Chair. This year we were excited to see a locally designed and made product take out first place, The Halo shower head.
